The Climate Mobility Pavilion @ COP27

Programme

Join Us

Join us at the COP 27 Climate Mobility Pavilion in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt from 7 – 18 November 2022. Situated in the Blue Zone, the Climate Mobility Pavilion is a dedicated space for discussion on expanding the climate mobility policy ecosystem and community of practice, to ensure that climate mobility solutions are enshrined in Nationally Determined Contributions and National Adaptation Strategies. This would enable financing to support people positive adaptation, including locally-anchored climate mobility solutions.

A Major Highlight

A major highlight of the Climate Mobility Pavilion is the launch of the Africa Shifts report by the Africa Climate Mobility Initiative, along with an open-source climate mobility mode to aid long-term decision making, and eight actions that need to take place in the next eight years.

Hosted by the Global Centre for Climate Mobility, and with the participation of numerous organisations bringing people positive adaptation strategies to life, the programme of events focuses on 10 themes.
